Today’s post is brought to you by …

… the letter A!

A is for Aprons~

I forgot to post pictures of the apron (and accessories) I made for the last round of the “Sassy Apron Swap.” The theme was summer and you had to include a bit of embellishment on your apron (I choose apple green ricrac), a kitchen towel (I bought two coordinating solid color towels from Target and then added the matching fabric strip) and a summer beverage recipe.

This set was hard to send off I liked it so much … good thing I have more of the fabric left ;).

I also have a new apron design now available. Thanks to my friend Megan who challenged me to do a full length fun and flirty (flirty = ruffle) apron for a fellow teacher.

Presenting … “Carmen”
(named after one of my favorite teachers)

A is for Announcements ~

I just got permission to add this “itty bitty” cutie to the shop … now I need to make a few!
Let me know if you’re interested and I’ll start with yours!

  1. CUTE aprons! I love the apples too! And for anyone pondering the dress, my daughter looks adorable in it… and as soon as I get off my rear, you’ll have a picture of just how cute it is on!

  2. Amanda says:

Well at one point I felt out of the loop in last nights convo, but I am all up to speed now. ;o)

Love the boy bitty baby set, my brother had a sock monkey and there is a pic of all us kids and the monkey together that I love. Point – I think every boy needs a sock monkey, in some form. Too adorable!

Love the ruffle pants and Ash would looks so pretty in them. Do you need to try out the pattern, you could on us…;o)

And of course your aprons are so much fun.

Thanks again for sharing your sewing machine and talent with us last night. I love the headbands and am now just waiting for my girls to wake so I can surprise them. Happy Morning!

  3. Yes Bethany – we want a picture of Claire wearing the adorable dress!!

I like that you named your full length apron Carmen…she was a great teacher.

    You’re very fancy my dear…
