A new tote …

… or maybe just a new look on an old tote :).

I’ve had the “Everyday Tote” listed on my sidebar, but once I introduced the “Everyday Hobo Tote” it got pushed out of the lime light.

Here is a new take on it and I’ve decided to call this style the “Everyday Simple Tote” as I think that it more accurately describes the tote. It is simple … simple, but very functional. It has a row of three pockets on one side and is tall enough to carry a magazine or book along with all your other necessities. It would also make a great market bag for a quick trip to the store or your local farmer’s market.

I’m offering this one at a much reduced price of $18 for readers of this blog. If it has not been purchased by Friday, July 4th, I’ll list it in the shop at the full price of $25.

**Edited – 7/1/08 @ 7:53PM – SOLD!! Thank you!!**

The interior is a coordinating “Tiffany” blue cotton and features 3 good sized pockets to hold all your “stuff” and a magnetic closure.
Both the exterior and interior fabric have been interfaced with fusible fleece giving this tote structure (while still being soft) and allowing the bag to stand up on its own.

9 inches wide at bottom
12.5 inches tall (excluding handles)
3 inches deep
handles – 20 inches total length/9.5 inch drop

A new tote for me…well actually for Jason’s step sister. We’re going to visit her in August and it will make the perfect “thanks for having us” gift.

Love the new blouses/tops. You’ve been busy.

  2. Cute. I like the simple look. I love the one I bought awhile ago. Since I bought the hobo tote for a purse the other one’s become a library bag, a grocery store bag and a take stuff to church bag. It’s perfect for it. :)

  3. Ooh, I really like that one! I saw it last night and debated about it… I thought that if it was sold by this morning, I’d get it. I might just order one anyway. It looks like a great way to use up little scraps.

  4. I like that tote! Too bad I didn’t check the computer AT ALL the last 2 days…yikes. :)

Very, very cute! Have a wonderful vacation! :)

  5. Nice and simple! Now tell me how do you keep up on two blogs? Are you really gone from JUNE 24th-AUG3??? ; ) or are you just taking time off from “the business” Well don’t feel pressured to to get my tote done ; ) I’m flexible ;P
hope to see you in the near future!
