Have-to’s …

Here are the “have to” projects for this week … which doesn’t mean I don’t like them, I really do enjoy making all of these things, really.

I’m calling this the “70’s Everyday Hobo Tote” …

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a child of the 70’s and I love all these colors, but hello, avocado green, orange and golden yellow?!? I like it so much I made THREE! One for a custom order, one for consignment and one for Etsy. So if you like it, watch the shop … it should be posted soon.

Oh and guess what? All Everyday Hobo Totes now feature SIX interior pockets. I got some feedback that more pockets are always wanted and really it’s easier for me to sew six, so there you have it, a win-win!
I was also asked to make a custom “Carmen” apron (for the same customer as above ;). This person will be starting full time as a Kindergarten teacher in the fall and wants a cute apron to cover up when a room full of 5 & 6 year olds are doing art projects :). I hope she likes this one too …

  1. Cute bag! Definitely “retro”!
I think I know this soon-to-be full time kindergarten teacher. That was a very smart idea to think of an apron.

  2. So cute!! Love it!

And the apron is perfect for what she’ll be using it for!

    Very fun…

  4. I love the shot with the teapot 😉 Of course, I love the bag too, such great fall colors.
