It’s a very good thing …

… I have a little boy.

For if I had a little girl to call my own all my free time would be spent sewing her up cuties like this:

This is my first try at “The Edith Twirl Skirt” pattern I purchased about a month and a half ago. This skirt is on it’s way to little Miss Mia … I gifted my time to Candy as I owed her something handmade for last year’s Pay It Forward. Yet another reminder of my chronic ailment … procrastination!!

I love it so much I contemplated making myself one, but am pretty sure at my age I would just look like an extra large cupcake and no one would want to be seen with me. Instead I shall just have to keep making them for the little girls I know and be happy (and don’t worry … I am so happy to have a little boy) with my little boy whose only sewing request has been a batman bag.

Happy Creating … stay tuned for a few more new pattern makes later this week!

    Oh how sweet!
Looking forward to seeing everything else you’ve been sewing.

  2. That is ADORABLE! Since I have a little girl, is it dangerous for me to be taking up sewing? I’m thinking it might be…

  3. Wow! You’ve been soo busy! I love your list takers…and that skirt!

Thanks for the label reference; I got a few made to put on my handmade Christmas prezzies — they turned out great so thanks again!!!

  4. How did I miss this?? It’s darling! You should add it to our flickr group. :)
