This little birdie went to market …

To Market?

Yep. That’s the BIG news …

Kelly and I had so much fun with this adventure

That we decided we wanted to more of these “events” in 2009. So in January we met to brainstorm ideas (and boy do we have ideas … so maybe it was to organize all of our ideas) and go about figuring out how to implement some of them. We planned for 3-4 sewing bees for 2009, planned to inquire about local farmer’s markets, fall festivals and finally Christmas Bazaars. Well, right before I left for vacation, we got information on our local farmer’s market and after much prayer, thought, discussion (with each other and our spouses) we decide to go for it! Which pretty much means everything else (like the sewing bees) are on hold while we put all of our creative energy into this.

So here’s the scoop as we know it right now …

What ~ Meridian Farmer’s Market
When ~ Starting May 2nd (the market runs through the end of September) we’ll be there about every other Saturday through August. 9AM – 1PM. TEN Saturdays in total for us.
Where ~ Good Question :)
Who ~ Me & Kelly
How ~ We have no idea … we’re down to FIVE weeks and we both have big plans, so we have a lot of work ahead of us.

Our hope and desire is to first and foremost have a wonderful time sharing our creative passions with those that visit us. We obviously hope that this venture is worthwhile financially to time and energy we put into it, but we know that is a risk. But, it was one we both wanted to take. You never know until you try, right? And we both feel like if we put as much of our heart and soul into it as we did into our little one day bazaar in November, people will feel that and they’ll have fun “shopping” at our little booth.

We have a meeting on Monday to get more scoop and we’ll be sure to share that with our readers. Be sure to check in often to see what we’re making (I’ll try to be good about blogging at least 1-2 times a week with what I’ve got done), promotions, etc. In fact, we’ve got a promotion planned just for YOU, our faithful readers. And for those of you who can’t visit us in person, the Knitty Bitties Etsy shop will also be carrying the same items as at the market and I’ll be running some promotions on there through the summer.

Thanks for your love and support! Happy Creating!
