Halloween table runner …

So as I traveled through blog land the other day checking in on all my favorite blogs (this journey is getting longer and longer :) I stumbled across the cutest table runner.

Now let me first say that I think the overall ‘cuteness’ of the room said table runner lives in is what won me over … in fact I’m pretty sure I’m going to have Matt make me a hutch very similar to the one shown, isn’t it beautiful?!? And her husband made it … which makes it so much better.

Anywho, the table runner is by Jodi, of Pleasant Home, who is also the fabulously creative designer behind the Baby Pinwheel Pattern I’ve gushed about several times. She put together some fun Halloween fabric packs in her Etsy shop, so I scooped up this one and purchased one of her “whirly gig” templates so I could make my own table runner. And because I already know I’m going to love it so, I plan to make some for the shop in fall and winter fabrics (Jodi is so sweet to allow me to create from her pattern).

The only sad thing is that due to Monday’s holiday, this project will have to wait until I get back … or maybe not … my rotary cutter, mat and a bit of fabric don’t take up much room. Maybe I’ll get all the cutting done while I’m away … Hmmmmm.

Happy Creating!

P.S. CHECK IN THIS WEEK FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS ABOUT “HANDMADE HOLIDAY” PROMOTIONS STARTING IN THE SHOP THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 19TH.
