Home crafting …

Just sharing a little bit of my recent ‘me’ creating …

Remember my spring crafting post? Well I accomplished four of the five on my list … the peeps garland (shhh, it’s still hanging up :D), our very own Easter grass, an egg pocket to hold my son’s chocolate bunny and my version of the Happy Easter shadow box.

(See original post to links for all these crafts … uhm yes, I’m being too lazy to link again ;P)

And because I gave away this spring-y table runner, I decided to set aside my ‘work sewing’ and do a little ‘me sewing’ after I saw this easy-peasy too cute table runner tutorial.

The fabric strips were already cut, left over from my “Hello 2010” Happy Little Camera Strap Slipcovers. So, for the top all I had to do was cut to them to the right length (or width? I don’t know … the one that wasn’t already cut, LOL).

For the backing, I used the leftover strips and added some Kona Grass Green (love it!) and bound it (with leftover binding from the robot quilt). Seriously, it went together in less than 4 hours total and all of it was from my stash. Yea, a stash buster project!

Happy Monday! Happy Creating!

P.S. Shop update this week: Happy Little Picture Keepers (some with ruffles … oh my!) and Bitty Baby Sets (so happy to be bringing these back).
