Summer break … a giveaway … and a mini …

Happy Friday all …

It’s been quiet around the sweat shop as we’ve had a busy week wrapping up school and taking full advantage of this summer break thing :). In fact yesterday my little guy and I decided that we would celebrate the first day of summer break with the “laziest day of summer.” We stayed in our jammies all day and indulged in way too much TV/computer/bed/laptop time. I did sneak in a little sewing too. It was bliss.

But now I’m back at it …

Sewing, sewing, sewing. Custom orders all caught up and I even have a ‘personal day’ of sewing planned for today.

So to kick off the weekend, I’m hosting a giveaway at super funky/funny blog, “I just might …” that I stumbled upon recently. The weird thing, I know this girl … like really know her … like we go to church together (and we’re both Dutch). How funny is that? We’re swimming in the same online circles and didn’t even know it until a few days ago. She’s chalk full of talent and has been accepted by all the top art schools. She choose the adventure of Pratt … in NYC! Totally jealous and I plan to live vicariously through her!!

While checking out her blog, I noticed she was seeking blog sponsors. So of course I had to sign up to be one (like, I want to hang with the cool AND YOUNG kids). And as part of that, I offered to do a giveaway too. Up for grabs? One of my new “Ruffle Up” zipper pouches.

So pop over, be inspired and maybe win your very own “Ruffle UP” pouch … perfect for all your summer adventures.

Other news …

A new camera strap slipcover ‘mini colorway’ is in the shop. There will only be 8 of these slipcovers available. I’ve named it ‘Summer Lovin.’ Really, its one of my favorites yet.

Happy Creating! See you back here next week with talk of new patterns I’m trying out, a new top for 4th of July and a super FUN, EXCITING, HAPPY announcement!!
