How {Knitty Bitties} got its groove back …

… it’s called school. Starting today.

The single best thing about sending my little back to school … a ROUTINE. A SCHEDULE. PREDICTABILITY.

Yep, almost everything else about it makes me sad, but I do love getting my routine back.

I’ve got big plans for coming weeks & months. Plans for shop updates and special projects … a makeover and new products … adventures and tutorials. Sounds pretty good right?

If I were to do a mini series {like blog it, not act it … bwahahaha} on my life as a stay at home mom running a business, would you be interested? Would you read it? Would you have questions for me so I’m not just blathering on? {If yes, yes or yes … let me know below!}

With that, I’ve got to get this house restored to order starting with a good cleaning which always makes me 10x more productive in my little shop.

I hope you enjoyed the looksies at the new items I put in the shop on Friday. I’ll let you in on one secret … the ‘Vintage Picnic’ camera strap colorway? There are only 8 available and I won’t be able to make it again. So … don’t say I didn’t warn ya :).

  1. I would definitely read it, as I’m hoping to have my own business some day – but as SAHM too!!!! My questions:

    1. How to you get the right balance?
    2. When did you start your business?

  2. I love routine. Happy cleaning and organizing to you. And yes, I would read it.

  3. love, love the new camera straps πŸ˜‰

  4. I would read it. A question, how many hours do you spend reading mail, surfing and looking for inspiration?

  8. I would love to read about how you manage your home business. How did you get started? How did you grow your business? What does a typical day look like? How many hours a day do you sew? How do you manage sales and mailing? I have so many questions (you’re kindof living my dream!!!) so yeah, I’d be interested. :)

  9. I would read the mini series. I would love to be a WAHM but have not been able to figure out how that would work. I would love to hear how you do it!

  13. Yes, please! a mini-series would be wonderful — I do have questions to ask… Please know that your blog is one of my favourites and a ‘first to read’ everyday. Thank you for your inspiration and hard work! (school is on the near horizon here too: I’ll miss my kids but am looking forward to some routine and dedicated sewing time again!)
