Holiday Shop Talk {Mark Your Calendars}

Well I’ve just about finished sewing all my Handmade Holiday Promotions and I’m getting things taken care of around the house {uhm, it’s embarrassing how long it’s been since the house got a deep clean} so that our family can enjoy a little time away from ‘normal’ life.

The blessing of my little’s track break is that we can take vacation at ‘off’ times … the bad part is that this track break falls right in the middle of the holiday madness that comes with owning your own Indie business. But, as I said in my last post, I’m not about to sacrifice quality time away with my family for the sake of my shop. Call me a bad business woman, but you can’t call me a bad wife/mom {and I take those two titles a whole lot more seriously than the other}.

So, the shop will remain open, but production will cease this Sunday, November 13th through Friday, November 18th. Anything purchased during this time will ship one week later than the stated shipping time.

When I return, I’ll be doing my very best to stock the shop with new products up until December 14TH. This is the LAST DAY to order and receive your item for Christmas. If you see something you like, I’d encourage you to purchase it and not wait. I can’t promise another will shop up before the new year.

I love Black Friday … LOVE it. So of course, I also love Cyber Monday. I WILL have a CYBER MONDAY {November 28TH} special that will include a discount AND a free item for that day ONLY.

Alright, that’s enough shop talk … onto talk of thanks …

Day 8
Thankful for family. I know, this is *almost* a given, but I’m SO thankful that my family {both sides} live close enough to see often. A lunch day with Grandma & Grandpa was a great treat for a Tuesday afternoon!

Day 9
Thankful for our abundance. We have an abundance of so much, but specifically today I’m thankful for the abundance of resources that we have that allow us to easily bless someone else with a small act of kindness and then pray for a much deeper blessing for them than just $10 to McDonalds.

** Sorry for the lack of pictures!! I’ve been chained to the sewing machine and things are flying out of here faster than my camera can keep up with. **
