A little of this and that …

I’m sewing like a mad woman over here, but sadly I can’t show most of it off on the blog just yet. I’ve got sewing for the Queen Bee Market at Snap! {shaking in my boots slippers over this … more about this soon}, sample sewing for Robert Kaufman {you can see a few sneaks on their Facebook page} AND sewing up some swag for a super, duper, colorful weekend of crafting {hmmm, how vague was I on that description?!?}.

In between all of that I did manage to finish off two cute {and uber QUICK} projects this week::

A doll quilt for my Bestie’s little girl. She’s turning 3 … GAH!! I had one block left over from the three I made for the ‘Courthouse Steps Quilt Along‘ and knew it would be perfect for a mini quilt. I added the polka dot border {which will go splendid with her polka dot party} and then finished it off with Rae’s cheater binding. Quick, quick, quick and cute, cute, cute.

Today I whipped up this ‘retro baby turban’ for my great-niece. I got to watch her today and was inspired to give this tutorial a shot. It might have taken me a little more than 5 minutes to create, but not more than 15! Isn’t she precious? I just love her to pieces.

And as if I didn’t have enough going on … I saw this sew along … and am so tempted to jump in.

Someone call the crazy house and tell them to keep a padded room open for me!
