Pinned it & Made it …

So awhile back several girlfriends & I were discussing our recent ‘pins’ and decided we should each create a board for those pins we’ve actually tried or made.

You can find my board, Ideas PINNED & made … here and all my boards here.

This is a sampling of some of my favorite pinned items …
For this post, I’ve only included my own images if I had them. Please see my note at the bottom of this post in regards to re-pinning any of these wonderful ideas.

Recipes I’ve made …
This is by far the category of pins I have made the most of. Pinterest has become my ‘go to’ for new dessert, dinner or party food inspiration.

Chocolate Chip Muffins {so, so, so good with the sour cream and dark chocolate chips}

White Wedding Cupcakes & The Best Vanilla Buttercream

Baked Southwest Eggrolls {a surprising hit with me and my Sweets}

Crash Hot Potatoes {a staple to go along with our weekend steak night}

Brown Sugar Baked Oatmeal {a new weekly staple}

Crafts I’ve done with my little and/or his class …
My son loves to craft and this year I have the pleasure of being the ‘art mom’ twice a month in his class. So I’ve had a chance to try several pins.

Marshmallow Animals

Monster Bookmarks

Angry Birds Poms

Mama Crafts I’ve made …

Felt Bow Bookmarks

DIY T-shirt flowers

Sewing …
Pinterest is great when I want to do some ‘fun’ sewing. These are all items I made for me or as gifts.

Lined Drawsting Bag Tutorial

Scrap Busting Zig Zag Pillow

Jane Market Bag

Pinwheels in the Park Quilt

Most recently made pin …

St. Patrick’s Day Banner
This was a QUICK project and I love how it turned out. Just the right bit of ‘St. Patty’s’ decor for me. I backed my book pages with kraft card stock and I used my Silhouette to cut the shamrocks. Easy Peasy.

So there are just a few of the things I’ve pinned and made. How about you? Are you too busy pinning to stop and actually MAKE something? If yes, challenge yourself to make something this week. I’ll try to do more posts sharing what I’ve been making too!

{A friendly note:: Please feel free to pin any of these items, but PLEASE DO NOT PIN with my blog as the source. I have given the original link on each item. Please click on it and then pin OR go to my pin on Pinterest and re-pin. THANK YOU!!}

  1. Thanks for the crafty inspirational post today! Very fun!

  2. I was just thinking of doing that myself – so I am heading onto Pinterest to do that, and to check out your pins :)

  3. Love it Andrea! Totally jealous of your silhouette! I snipped my shamrocks out by hand….definately the most time consuming part of the whole project! ;)

  4. Real cute! All of it :)

  5. Lovely! Thank you for the inspiration and the eye candy!

  6. Sandy says:

    Wowee! Looks awesome! I tried the chocolate version of that frosting and it is also amazing!
