I love lists!

How about you??
On Friday I posted on Facebook that I checked off everything on Thursday’s list {mid-day on Friday} and didn’t make a list for Friday which meant I got a nap! Hurrah! Do you ever build in a day with ‘no list’ to catch up and give yourself a little freedom in your week?

Here’s a little look at what’s on this week’s to-do list::

  1. Give Daisy girl a bath. Definitely not my favorite thing to do {once every three weeks}, but man does she smell so nice afterward.
  2. Quick clean the house. My new method of maintaining my house and my sanity. I ‘deep clean’ one week {meaning mopping floors, vacuuming all the base boards, changing sheets, washing rugs, etc.} and the next week I ‘quick clean’ {meaning sweep & vacuum everything, dust and clean bathrooms}. I know it wouldn’t work for everyone, but for us, everything stays nice enough in between and it saves me half a day of cleaning on the ‘quick’ weeks.
  3. Lunch and fabric picking with a friend. A friend who just happens to have a one month old I have yet to meet in person. Can’t wait for yummy food, fabric browsing and baby holding.
  4. Work on this month’s post for 30 Handmade Days. It’s a tutorial!
  5. Finish reading Kisses from Katie. Seriously, it’s so good, I’m not sure why I’m having such a hard time finishing it.
  6. Soccer practice. This is the first week so it’ll be another adjustment in our routine adding in two nights of practice {read … one really tired boy come Friday}.
  7. Girls night on Friday. Can’t come quick enough.
  8. Run. I’ve been out of it for two weeks … must get back to it.
  9. Decoration planning. For the in-law’s 50th celebration.
  10. Celebrate the Little’s half birthday {today!!}. I want to bake him half a birthday cake and get him The Lorax.

And … announcing this month’s Happy Bundle winner … CONGRATULATIONS to Katy P.!! You should be getting an e-mail shortly!
What’s on your to-do list this week?

  1. That is full but fun list! I especially love the fabric picking and Girl’s Night :) I use a very similar cleaning method and it works for us too! Off to make my list for the day :) Happy Monday to you!

  2. I’m making my weekly list as I am reading this! :)

  3. Looking forward to #7! And we’re celebrating C’s half-birthday on Wednesday. :)

  4. Sandy C says:

You seriously vacuum all baseboards and wash your rugs every other week? Oi, you must be sick when you come to my house! Thanks for loving me anyway 😉 Have a good week!
