Cranberry Orange Chutney {guest post by The Domestic Doozie}

Hello hello! I’m Ko from The Domestic Doozie and I am thrilled to be here with y’all today! Thank you Andrea for letting me guest post and for allowing me to have been a part of your beautiful November giveaway!

I know almost everyone says the holidays are their favorite time of the year. But seriously y’all, they are by far my favorite time of the year! I’ve been likened to Buddy the Elf~not kidding!
The gatherings, the decorations, the gifts, the laughter and of course the food make it such a sweet time filled with memories past. So today I thought I’d share with you my family’s recipe for Cranberry Orange Chutney. It is crazy good as well as crazy easy. Add a pretty little garnish on top and you’ll have your holiday crew oohing and ahhing over this side dish. 
2 12oz bags of fresh cranberries
1 large orange ~ sliced and seeded
2 (gulp) cups of sugar

Put the berries and orange slices in a food processor (1) and give it a whirl (2). Once things are moving nicely add the sugar (3) and continue to process for 30 more seconds (4).

*If you are worried about the amount of chutney in your processor, blend the oranges first and then add the cranberries.

Place the chutney in a glass container and refrigerate for 2 days before serving. When ready to serve garnish with fresh or candied orange peel and a few whole cranberries!
