HELLO Paper Clouds / Pen & Paints

Hello … Paper Clouds.

Hey there! Not much longer until Christmas! Have you gotten your presents bought? And better yet, have you started wrapping them?
When I wrap my gifts I like to keep things simple.  If use a bag I always use the classic white bags from Hobby Lobby that are around $6.99 (then I use a 40% off coupon!)

I created these super simple tags and just cut them to size and used my cute little stamps to add the name.  You can find a TON of printables online for gift tags.  No reason to stress or buy those tacky stickers at Walmart!

Another option would be to buy some simple round labels (these are 2.5 in craft labels from the Avery Collection at Staples) just add on a simple saying and to and from! Boom. You’re done!

A final option is to purchase one of my to/from stamps off Etsy (or win one in the Happy Bundle giveaway!) Stamps are super popular right now because they are SO. EASY.

Good luck to everyone who entered the giveaway and if you haven’t…what are you waiting for?!  Feel free to visit my shop and get 15% discount with the coupon code thankyou!
Thanks Madaline!! I love these simple & classic wrapping ideas.

Hello … Pen & Paint.
Hi, I’m Lindsay of Pen & Paint!
I am a happy wife and busy mama of two silly little boys. I love to create. You’ll find me with pens and sketchbook in hand or paint all over my clothes.
We love Christmas time and we really love handmade ornaments. We have started a tradition of creating ornaments with the boys each year. In 2010 my boys were still squirmy and we found using foot prints was much easier so we created fun reindeer ornaments with their footprints.
Last year, 2011, we were able to use their hand prints to create these cute Santa ornaments on mini canvases.
I haven’t quite decided, but I think this year we will use hand prints again and try to make snowmen on a round ornament. There is something so sweet about seeing the little hands (and feet) of your children on ornaments or artwork. It reminds me they won’t be little forever.
I also know the boys will out grow this type of ornament making, but I hope to encourage them creatively and maybe one day see something like a wooden ornament they carved or one they painted themselves.
I hope y’all have a wonderful Christmas and a creative new year!
Come say hi! Oh, and take 15% off your order through December 8th with the code HELLO15
Such sweetness Lindsay, I treasure the little reminders of my Little over the years!
Thank you for sharing these heartfelt ornament ideas.
