Happy Friday!
life rearranged
It’s been a pretty good week around here. A week I needed after a kinda rough week. Many blessings.
Here’s a look at it through my Instagram feed::
A {day late} Valentine package from the Bestie was actually perfect timing for a “3 day” bed stay thanks to food poisoning.
We kicked off the week with a friend’s party/playdate to celebrate the Little’s 9th birthday. It was so fun watching my only with a room full of boys. He loved it!
Post-party: My boys asleep and me sitting in QUIET mindlessly surfing the web. Just what I needed to re-charge a little.
And then my Little joined me and read. This was just what I needed too.
I missed out on having a sundae at our family birthday celebration, so I made up for it when I felt better. Mmmm.
I was downright giddy to be out and about after FOUR days stuck at home. I’m a total hermit, but even hermit’s need to see the SUN every now and then. Costco and grocery shopping were actually pleasant. Of course, tulips and Starbucks don’t hurt either!
Dressed for the #turtlenecksoftheheart Tuesday challenge by Jami Nato. A poncho is very modest … in fact, it would only be more modest with a turtleneck underneath … but that will NEVER happen.
Finishing up the day with a fro-yo date. My last one with an eight year old {whaaaaaaa}!
Apparently I skipped right over documenting the Little’s actual birthday on Instagram. Not to worry, it was a very good day filled with balloons, presents, sweets and treats and the love of family and friends.
From my Facebook page update Wednesday:
“My quiver may be light, but my cup runneth over. Thank you God!”
Don’t miss a chance at this Raising Up Rubies {and more from me} showing up in YOUR mail box soon. You can’t win if you don’t enter!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Don’t forget to leave me your Instagram name so I can follow on long on your happenings too!
