Introducing Raising Up Rubies

Well Hello Monday!

You followed a delightful three day weekend {I know! Two in a row thanks to end of the trimester for my Little.}. It was the perfect balance of lazy, want-to’s, yummy dinner in & out, birthday party & date night, church and a nap!

The best part? No one was sick!! Hallelujah!
I’m calling it a win!

This week is sure to be fun to as I get ready to host my Bunko group and get in A LOT of sewing.

But enough of me … I want to introduce you to this month’s Happy Bundle sponsor, Raising Up Rubies. Jamie is the author behind Raising Up Rubies and creator behind a little Sugar ‘n Spice and is just as cute and sweet as the items she makes for her shop. I first discovered Jamie through The Pleated Poppy and was DELIGHTED when she happily agreed to be a sponsor for me and my little ol’ blog. Her heart is big and you can tell she loves what she does.

Here’s more about Jamie & Raising Up Rubies in her own words::

Hi I’m Jaime! from Raising up Rubies ♥

I guess I’m a little bit of this and a little bit of that … blessed with the privilege of raising two girls and at the same time learning how to walk with God to become the woman He would have me to be.

Ever since I was a young girl, I would make & sell lovely things … don’t think I’ve met a craft I don’t like ♥ my love for handmade probably started when I was a little girl, my mom would give me her old Good Housekeeping magazines … I would cut and glue pictures onto construction paper. I thought for sure that would be my job someday … a professional picture cutter-outter-gluer-on-paper person.

My shop, a little Sugar ‘n Spice, is a little bit of everything! … paper goodies, fabric tape & vintage trims, gift wrapping supplies, appliques for your crafty & scrap-booking projects, garlands, tags and all things lovely.

And a few questions I asked Jamie to answer so we could get to know her a little better::

Favorite thing about February:

Valentine’s Day!!! I get more excited about it than Christmas! (maybe it’s all the hearts & all the pink :)

Last book read:
Unglued by Lysa Terkeurst (fantastical!)

TV show:
I’m not much of a TV watcher, but my girls and I love love love watching Little House on the Prairie! (old school i know :). I do like to watch Cake Boss though, because my family is exactly like them! loud, obnoxious and crazy :)

Go to tool:
hmmm, that’s a hard one … everything! I do get a lot of use out of my sewing machine (which is usually sewing paper not fabric!) and my cupcake papers … sigh ♥

Favorite post: Gotta be my craft room post … it’s the reason I’ve gotten to know so many wonderful people here in bloggy land!

{I’d say!! Jamie’s craft room was featured in this magazine you may have heard of … BETTER HOMES & GARDENS!! NBD!}

Thank you Jamie for sharing a bit about you and giving of your talent to this month’s Happy Bundle! Ya’ll should grab an iced tea and head over to Jamie’s blog for all kinds of lovely inspiration. Then grab a refill and head over to her shop full of sweet fun!

{If you have a business and would be interested in sponsoring a future Happy Bundle giveaway, please e-mail me so I can take a peek and we can chat more!}
