Hello Monday // Hello WordPress

First let me say hello and welcome to my new home here at knittybittiessews.com!
So exciting, right? I feel like a big girl who’s just bought her first real place.

I’m still “moving in” but don’t let that stop you from stopping by. I’ll be hanging new curtains and freshening up some bedrooms around here {aka design work and coding … eep!!} so that it will be a nice place for you to come and be inspired. Of course, even as I work through these projects, I’ll be sure to have fresh iced tea and fresh baked cookies {aka new posts} to keep you coming back!

**While my blogspot blog will still be functioning, there will not be any new content added. In addition, all of the content from my blogspot blog has moved with me and is right here {albeit some posts may look a little different due to formatting inconsistencies}. Blogspot *should* re-direct to knittybittiessews.com.**

I’m saying hello to settling in and learning the in’s and out’s of WordPress {all helpful advice/tutorial links welcome … hint, hint}.

I’m saying hello to my first favorite feature of WordPress … being able to respond to your comments quickly in one spot! I really love {you} my readers and blogger made it so difficult to connect with you and your sweet comments.

I’m saying hello to a dedicated ‘work week’ … which means doing my best to not schedule anything into my week day that isn’t necessary to running our house or Knitty Bitties. I’ve got some samples to sew and class materials to work on for the very quickly approaching Sewing Summit!

Hello to lots of iced tea to keep me on task and get all my work done.

Hello to checking sewing projects off my ‘personal’ to-do list.

The most recent finish was this polka dot table runner for my Bestie’s birthday::

She wanted a ‘runner/topper’ to go under a vintage soda crate on her kitchen island. I suggested something similar to the polka dot table runners in my shop and she said, “yes please!”

Patchwork pieced with various polka dot scraps, white sashing and straight line quilting finished with cheater polka dot backing/binding.

Let me know what you think of the new address and don’t forget to stop by for more tea & cookies this week!
