This quilt went to market …

That’s right … once again, I got one-upped by my sewn samples.
They got to travel to Houston this past weekend and have the time of their lives while I was relegated to stalking my IG feed for all things #quiltmarket.

I wish I could just get folded up in someone’s suitcase and hitch a ride.

As fall Quilt Market wraps up today, I thought it was the perfect time to share my FIRST EVER quilt sample, Rolling Meadows, for Robert Kaufman’s Fusions Meadow fabric line.

It came together very quickly for its large size {68×68}. I’ll be honest … if I go to the work of making a quilt, I want to really be able to snuggle up underneath it! Are you with me? Quilt = Great Nap.

Top 3 loves of this quilt::

  • I love the HST {half square triangles} design
  • I love sewing with pre-cuts
  • I love that you create {4} giant “blocks” which can be rotated to create {4} different quilt designs

RK-Rolling-Meadows-Quilt-2 Fabric used::

Fusions Meadow Precut Charm Squares {available starting next month} and coordinating Fusions Meadow yardage“Rolling Meadows” quilt pattern will be available for FREE on Robert Kaufman‘s website.

Happy Monday {at least I’ll be well rested, where those Quilt Market goers will be dragging the rest of the week ;D}!!
